Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what the beta waitlist needs to work:

• —Your email address
• —The time you consented to the collection and use of your personal data
• —The time you submitted
• —Usage data — where the sign-up came from (which language of the landing page, and which form on it), page views and product events such as a waitlist sign-up, plus a browser identifier (see section 9)

2. How we use it

To tell you when the beta opens: the email address you give us on the waitlist is used for that announcement and nothing else.

To improve the Service: aggregate visit and sign-up patterns.

To answer you if you contact us about your waitlist sign-up.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Processors we use

We share data with a small number of service providers, only as needed to run the Service:

• —Supabase — database
• —PostHog — visit and usage analytics
• —Vercel and Cloudflare — hosting and network delivery

4. Sharing with anyone else

We do not share your personal data with third parties. Where the law requires disclosure, we disclose only what is required.

The providers listed in section 3 process data on our instructions to run the Service, which is different from sharing it with a third party.

5. Retention and deletion

Waitlist sign-up data is kept until one year after we collect it, or until we have sent the beta announcement — whichever comes first. We delete it at that point.

If you withdraw before then, we delete it immediately — email support@careercollector.com and it is done.

6. International transfers

All of our providers are outside the Republic of Korea, so using the Service transfers data abroad. Supabase, PostHog, Vercel, and Cloudflare process data in the United States, for the purposes listed in section 3. Transfers happen over the network at the point each processing step is needed, and the providers retain the data for the period described in section 5.

Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent you have given, and to object to certain processing.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

The waitlist has no read access enabled at all — submissions can be added but the list cannot be queried through the application.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used. It stores an identifier in your browser (cookie and local storage) and records page views and product events such as a waitlist sign-up.

You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. This analytics is not required to provide the Service, so refusing it does not limit your use of it. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party ad identifiers.

10. Changes and contact

This policy takes effect on 2026-08-28. We may update it; material changes will be announced in the Service before they take effect. If opening the beta widens what we process, we will publish the policy covering that before it starts. Questions: support@careercollector.com
