Terms of Service

1. What the Service does

CareerCollector reads work records you connect or upload, structures them into a career timeline, and uses AI to surface accomplishments from that material. Some results are shown for free; others require credits to unlock.

The Service produces drafts based on material you provide. You are responsible for reviewing anything you use in a resume or job application for accuracy.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the material you connect or upload, and to the results generated from it.

You grant us a limited licence to process that material solely to operate the Service for you — parsing it, generating results, and storing them in your account. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

You must only connect material you are permitted to use. Do not upload confidential information belonging to an employer or client if you are not allowed to process it this way.

4. Credits and payment

Credits are purchased in a one-time pack of 100 credits for $19 USD. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Credits are consumed when you unlock achievements, re-sync a connected source, or generate a resume. Credits do not expire. Anything you unlock stays unlocked permanently.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record and seller for the transaction. Paddle handles billing, taxes, and payment disputes, and their terms apply to the purchase itself.

5. Refunds

Refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• —Attempt to access other users’ data or bypass the Service’s access controls
• —Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service
• —Upload malicious files or content that is unlawful or infringes others’ rights
• —Use automated means to place excessive load on the Service

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund unused credit balances.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities or lost income.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

On deletion we remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Unused credits are forfeited when you delete your own account voluntarily.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
